I was sent the notepad and clip pictured above from the Happeez collection in Twilight Stripe! Aren't they cute?! I love to make lists and I know this will come in handy at college! I can attach the stuff to my mini-refrigerator! I can also clip a picture up! Yay! I also think the "to review" clip pictured above would be helpful for bloggers! Of course, I'm in love with the "sweets - cupcakes" stuff!

Little Laura's Sweets Review

I was sent several treats from Little Laura's Sweets to try! Just looking at the website makes me drool! Seeing the goodies in person, I couldn't restrain myself! Little Laura’s Sweets is a modern artisan baking company, based in Hermosa Beach California. In using only the finest natural, organic and seasonal ingredients available, Little Laura’s Sweets is able to provide its customers with delicious, whimsical and unique treats that will remind them of days gone by, yet have a modern flair. They even use all eco friendly, recycled and bio degradable packaging! They also buy carbon offsets to cover the shipping of the goodies!

My favorite thing that I was sent was the Wawa Cookies! Described as "cakey chocolate cookies topped with roasted marshmallow and chocolate" reminded me of a baking experience with my boyfriend, except that these are good! I tried one and then forced my boyfriend to try them because I made the mistake of telling him they were like these brownie things we tried to make this summer! I'm not sure what we did wrong, but these delicious cookies seem like the thing we attempted to make, only Laura has succeeded! After trying a cookie, my boyfriend said, "I'm glad you twisted my arm to get my try one of those!" These cookies were the first thing I finished! Just look at the yummy gooey-ness!




My 2nd favorite thing that I was sent was the Peanut Butter Cups! These cute pb cups are individually wrapped! It's a nice bottom layer of peanut butter and a great chocolate topping! My favorite candy is Reese's, but let me say that these are even better! I didn't share these with anyone! :)




I was also sent 2 different kinds of Shortbread cookies! I received Lavender Shortbread – crisp and buttery with a punch of fresh lavender and Margarita Shortbread! I liked the Margarita Shortbread the most! I can't really describe it, but I can say that it's gone! It's not your average shortbread cookie!

The Last Song Review

THE LAST SONG by Nicholas Sparks

I'm a really big fan of Nicholas Sparks and when I was given a chance to read his newest book, The Last Song I was really excited!

The #1 bestselling author Nicholas Sparks's new novel is at once a compelling family drama and a heartrending tale of young love. I've read many of Nicholas Sparks books and thought I knew what to expect and wouldn't cry while reading this one. However, I was wrong.

The main character Ronnie is easy for me to relate to because we are close in age (she's 18 and I'm 19). This story takes place the summer after she finished high school and portrays her first love and the relationship between parents and children. It is a beautiful story. I'm a daddy's girl and instantly felt for Ronnie when dealing with her dad. I also appreciated Ronnie's little brother's presence in the novel (I love kids).

To say that I cried while reading this book would be a lie... I balled my eyes out! I actually read most of this at college and hoped that nobody could hear me crying because they might think something was wrong. But, it was just me enjoying another Nicholas Sparks book.

If you are a fan of Nicholas Sparks, this is a definite must-read! It doesn't disappoint! Or, if you just enjoy stories about first love and relationships, then this is a great book!

Pearl Izumi Running Shoes Review

Revlon Runway Collection Nails Review

Recently, I was offered the chance to review the Revlon Runway Collection nails. Knowing that Revlon is a great brand and liking the look of the nails, I decided to give it a go. The nails are even prettier in person! I used Starlet, pictured below. The glue is super sticky! I can tell these nails will last a while! They are also look great! I had actually never applied fake nails, but the nails still look good! I really like all of the variety with the nails. I also appreciate the moderate price! Next time you decide to get your nails done, definitely consider these! Thanks Revlon!

Guiltless Gourmet Baked Tortilla Chips Review

Guiltless Gourmet makes delicious products like chips, dips, and dessert bowls that you don't feel bad about eating! I was recently offered a bag of their Baked Tortilla Chips. This “guiltless” way to snack is exceeding consumers’ expectations because they are “baked, not fried,” and are all natural with no preservatives or artificial ingredients. For 18 big chips, they are only 120 calories and 3 grams of fat or less per serving and 0 Trans fat. Being a lover of chips and salsa, I jumped at the chance to try these!



I was lucky enough to be sent the Chile Verde! These chips are awesome! I love them! They have a bold taste and are really crispy! appreciate that it's a tortilla chip and already has flavoring on it, no salsa needed! I enjoyed these so much that I even brought the remaining bag to college with me! My boyfriend also likes them, we sat on the couch my last Saturday before starting back at college and ate some.

The chips can be found at retailers nationwide such as Shoprite, Wegmans, Kroger, Safeway, Publix, Whole Foods, Giant Eagle, Raley's, and Albertsons in the snack section. They have a suggested retail price of $2.79.

I was sent a bottle of Urgent Repair Shampoo. I was really excited to try this because a new conditioner I had just started using seemed to be leaving behind a bunch of build-up/product and left my hair looking wet/oily. However, just one shampooing with this stuff and my hair was better than before the conditioner! It got rid of the stuff left behind from the other product, but didn't mess up my hair! This is great for everyone, especially swimmers, people who use lots of styling products and those who live in hard water or well water regions!

I was also able to try the Urgent Repair Replenishing Treatment! This treatment is a protein rich restructuring and conditioning treatment that strengthens and restores vibrancy to dry, damaged and color treated hair. I like that this product can be used as a treatment by leaving it on for up to 15 minutes and wrapping head in plastic and applying external heat and that is also good for daily use! I also appreciate the skin soothing effect it has! It really does relieve an irritated/dry scalp! This treatment helps my hair and my scalp, a great combination!

Eufora also sent me the Hydration Leave-In Conditioner! This is a weightless, protein-rich, daily leave-in conditioner! It protects hair from styling heat damage and sun damage. It moisturizes and detangles hair! I love the benefits of this and it smells pretty good too!

I've also been using the Illuminate Shine Mist! This mist is an advanced, multi-use, shine enhancement product that provides wear-in treatment benefits. This mist gives my hair moisture and helps seal the cuticle! It even contains Vitamin E and Vitamin B5! This mist can be used to add shine to a finished style, for extra detangling on towel dried hair, and for added softness! This is a great multi-use hair product!

I was sent the Nahualli Trading Co.'s 100 Percent Organic Chocolate Seeds to try! The 100% Organic Chocolate Seeds are cocoa beans covered in dark chocolate. Cocoa beans come from the seed pod of the chocolate tree. "Taste the origin of chocolate."




I wasn't sure what to expect with these because I had never had cocoa beans. However, these were great! I'd definitely recommend these for any chocolate lover! I really enjoyed the dark chocolate on the outside as well! It was nice to bite into and find the cocoa bean on the inside! Really rich and delicious! They are soo yummy!
