When I was contacted to do a post on Silver Jewelry from Novica, I was excited. Novica is a fair trade artisan website who works with National Geographic to sell beautiful pieces (not just jewelry but home decor and much more) from many artists around the world. So, I picked out two pairs of earrings for reveiw.
The first pair I picked out was the dangling dolphin earrings from Thailand! Here are some pictures of these beautiful things! First, I want to share with you the great detail that goes into these pieces by showing you the beautiful box they came in! Don’t you just love the touch of the little leaf? I think it’s darling! Now, on to the earrings!
Aren’t they pretty? I really like them because they have dolphins and I have always thought dolphins were beautiful! I also like hoops. This is like a 2 in one! I think they are wonderful for summer! They would go with almost any outfit and look nice.
I also got a very nice set of sterling silver swirling waterfalls drop earrings from Bali! Here is the beautiful and very ornate box they came in! Isn’t that a very nice box? It can be used to present the earrings as a gift or used for another gift. It’s a very sturdy box that I believe has many uses!
Here I am wearing the wonderful earrings! I chose these earrings because I think they are more dressy. They would look wonderful with a dress or something like that. With me being an education major, it’s always nice to find something cute to dress up an outfit. These are a little bit longer than I thought they would be, but they are pretty nonetheless.
Overall, Novica offers beautiful pieces from several artists. The shipping prices are a bit higher on some items than you might expect, but since the pieces come from other countries, it’s to be expected. One of the pairs of earrings did manage to get lost via UPS on its way to me. However, UPS straightened it out and got them to me.
I was a bit surprised when I realized that you can use only one gift certificate at a time when checking out. However, that’s not a deal breaker or anything, I just thought it was worth noting.
Disclaimer: I received these earrings for free for this review. No other compensation was received. The opinions expressed are my own.
