Fantasy Jewelry Box Review and Giveaway
Fantasy Jewelry Box offers beautiful affordable jewelry! I was allowed to pick out a piece of their great jewelry to review! I selected the Journey of Bubbles Sterling Silver CZ Drop Set!

Seagate FreeAgent Go 500 GB Portable Hard Drive Review
I just got a new, wonderful portable hard drive from Seagate! "Powerful inside, stunning outside. This is the stylish drive that puts portability first." It can:
* Store photos, music, and other files
* Carry your data anywhere you want
* Synchronize data between computers
* Backup files at your desktop using the optional dock
I received this just as I was working on an important report for my linguistics class and I realized that I didn't have ANY of my documents from college backed up! I immediately plugged this thing into my computer and fixed that little problem! Now, I don't have to worry about my laptop doing something funny and losing my reports. With 500 GB of space I was able to backup all of the documents and pictures from my laptop and not even make a dent in the space available! I love this thing! I foresee this coming in handy for years to come!
I really like this portable hard drive! I think it looks pretty! I also like that it's so easy to use. I just plugged the usb cable up to the hard drive and to my laptop and it started loading on its own! I also like how it has the option to backup files automatically! It also comes with a 5 year limited warranty!
If you need to backup your files or are tired of carrying around all of the little jump drives, you should get one of these! They are worth the price because they can save you from the pain and headaches of losing important documents, pictures, and music!

MagnaPods - 1st Business 2 Blogger Review
I'm happy to bring you my first review from Business 2 Blogger! It's for MagnaPods, which can really help a girl out! I received a MagnaPods Cosmetic Organizer Set #0106 and a MagnaPods Tooth Brush Holder #0201! With space being at a premium in a dorm room, I need all of the help that I can get! The wonderful MagnaPods are a great way to free up some space. I placed my Magnapods on my mini-refrigerator! Here are the pictures of my MagnaPods!
That is the side of the refrigerator! I loved having my toothbrush right there, so I kind of made the toothpaste fit in the other hole! :) Now, this is the front...
Since I already had the notepad on there I decided I need something to write with beside it. This worked out perfectly!
Thanks so much Business 2 Blogger and MagnaPods! I have managed to clear off some space around the room and it was so easy! I will probably be using these for a while because they can be used on a bathroom medicine cabinet or filing cabinet (which every teacher has)!

Proactiv Review
I'm sure everyone has seen those commercials on tv for Proactiv and wondered if it actually worked. If you haven't seen the commercials I'm talking about, here's a little bit about Proactiv®!
"Proactiv® Solution, the world's best selling acne system, is a leader in acne prevention and treatment formulated to offer consumers the opportunity for a lifetime of smooth, clear, healthy-looking skin. Now with new micro-crystal benzoyl peroxide, Proactiv utilizes Combination Therapy® to directly target the root causes of acne – bacteria, oil production, and dead skin cell build up – and heal and soothe acne prone skin. Proactiv clears existing blemishes, soothes inflammation and redness, and helps to prevent new breakouts from occurring. Proactiv Solution has a complete line of products, beyond the 3-Step System, including moisturizers, sunscreens, spot treatments and body washes formulated specifically for acne prone skin.
Proactiv, developed by Drs. Rodan and Fields, celebrates its 15-year anniversary in June 2010. It has been used successfully by millions of women, men and teens around the world. The iconic 3-Step System, along with other products in Proactiv's extensive skin care line, have been recognized with 27 coveted awards and honors from the beauty and health industry."
I'm happy to say that thru the Product Review Place, I got a chance to receive some Proactiv to review! I've been using Proactiv for a little over 2 weeks now and am overall pretty pleased with the results. I must admit I've never really had a huge problem with acne. I tend to stay broke out on my nose and get zits on my chin, but that's about it. However, those two places seem to stay broke out no matter what I use.
My first reaction to Proactiv is that it smells weird. It's entirely possible it's just me. However, I wasn't completely attracted to the products based on scent alone. After using the products I can honestly say that Proactiv does help with acne. I can't say that it's an overnight miracle, but then again, what is?
The Renewing Cleanser was the first product that I used and it was the one that smelled a little funny to me. However, it seemed to work well.
I was surprised that the Revitalizing Toner didn't sting when I put it on because I have used some toners in the past that did. However, this doesn't sting at all! I was very pleased about that!
The Repairing Treatment was a light, airy lotion that wasn't sticky/glossy.
My favorite Proactiv product was the Green Tea Moisturizer! I loved it! This is the best smelling product from Proactiv and it goes on really nicely. Plus, since it's been so cold and windy/snowy/rainy here lately, my facial skin has really needed something extra. My face did get a little dry while using the system, but the moisturizer really helped.
Overall, Proactiv is a really nice product for those of us with acne. It did manage to clear up my nose! Yay!

Girl Scout Thank U Berry Munch Cookie Review
Did you know that today is World Thinking Day? Every year on February 22nd, Girl Scouts and Girl Guides all over the world take a moment to send symbolic messages of friendship to their sisters in the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts. It is a special day in the Girl Scout year when they remember they are part of an international movement. What better day to post a great review of some new Girl Scout Cookies from the Girl Scouts of Nassau County!
Now through March 31st, the long awaited famous Girl Scout Cookies® will be available from your local Girl Scouts. Girl Scouts will be selling eight Cookie varieties, all containing zero grams of trans fat. They are Lemon Chalet Cremes, Trefoils, Do-Si-Dos, Samoas, Dulce de Leche, Tagalongs, Thin Mints and the newest Cookie, Thank U Berry Munch. The Thank U Berry Munch is made with real premium cranberries providing a delightful tartness to these hearty cookies sweetened with creamy, white fudge chips. Crispy rice delivers a satisfying crunch.
I was lucky enough to receive a box of the Thank U Berry Munch cookies to review! Here is a picture of the new cookie!
I don't usually like things with cranberries in it. So, I first had my boyfriend try the cookies because he loves cranberries. He LOVED these cookies! Then, since they smelled so good and because he liked them, I decided to go ahead and eat one. Well, just let me say that I could not stop at one! These cookies are delicious, even to someone who isn't a cranberry fan! I ended up eating most of the box! These new cookies won't disappoint anyone who is a Girl Scout cookie fan!
You can find your Girl Scout Cookies® with their Cookie Booth Locator tool on their website, GSNC!

We Blog Conference Focus Group Application
Being such a new blogger I have never attended a blog conference or any other blog related event. This is mostly because of money. Being a college student means I don't have much money. If I do have money it tends to go towards food or books (no lie). I also blog in my free time (which during the school year tends to be very little time). This being said, I don't have the time to hunt down and get dozens of donations for a blog conference. Another reason I haven't gone to a conference is because of the distance. I live in Southwest Virginia(not to be confused with South West Virginia :) ). Most conferences are hours away from me and I'd have to take a plane to get there.
Then, I found out about the We Blog Conference and Focus Group! Both events will be taking place in Tennessee and will be virtually free thanks to various sponsors! There will be lodging at the wonderful Glenstone Lodge in Gatlinburg, TN! Thanks to the generosity of The Discovery Store, most of the trip is free. For the Focus Group all I would have to come up with is transportation and a lunch on Monday! The co-founders of this great idea are Kelli of 3 Boys and a Dog and Jyl at The Post-It Place!
I found out about the We Blog Conference several months ago and was instantly interested in applying for their Focus Group taking place in May of this year. However, I didn't apply right away for various reasons. I have given it some serious thought and decided that I should apply for this lovely opportunity because, to quote William James, “He who refuses to embrace a unique opportunity loses the prize as surely as if he had failed.” At least this way I won't wonder "what if" and have to sit back and watch those lucky 8 people having fun and learning lots about blogging!
I want to be a part of this very lucky group because I know I have much to learn about blogging and this seems like the perfect opportunity for me to do so. Also, I would LOVE to meet new people. I feel like I don't get out enough and this would allow me to socialize with new people and hopefully form new friendships (since we all would automatically have something in common)! I also REALLY want this because I need something to look forward to. I mean sure, I'm looking forward to summer (which starts the first full week of May), but I mean something to do. I currently don't have any plans for my summer break and this would be something awesome for me to do and to be able to say that I am attending!
I also think there needs to be someone to represent the younger, non-mommy bloggers there. I see TONS of mommy bloggers around the internet, but very few young college students without children. I can bring a young person's perspective to the table for this experience. I can also provide insight from someone still establishing and building a blog/readership.
If chosen to participate in this wonderful event I would love to learn more about making my blog better in general. I know I have a good start, but I'm not sure where to go from here. I would love to discuss blog layout, if possible. I've been debating for sometime about getting a new one, but I have no idea where to go and which to pick! I'd also like to know more about SEO since I hear about it a lot, but I'm not really sure how to take full advantage of it. I would also love to hear more about what is planned for conference!

Rubbermaid Junk Drawer Organizer and Giveaway
Everyone has one. But few of us use it effectively. Yes, that’s right: the family junk drawer. Almost always in the kitchen, it becomes a catchall for everything from specialty kitchen tools to spare keys, gum to school permission slips, office supplies to emergency essentials. Rubbermaid has come out with a new product, the Drawer Organizer! These drawer organizers interlock with one another. This is a great feature because you can create any configuration that fits both your needs and your drawer space. Plus, the interlocking feature ensures the drawer organizers stay together when you open and close your drawer and reduces the chance of small objects following through cracks and becoming lost. The drawer organizers also have special feet that help stabilize them in the drawer. The feet stop the organizers from crashing back and forth in the drawer as it is opened and closed. The pattern featured on the drawer organizers is unique and will hopefully help make your drawer nicer and more pleasing to look at.
I received Rubbermaid's new 6 piece set of drawer organizers! Here is my before picture of my drawer at my desk at college:
It's tragic, I know! However, I'm always in a rush and sort of just throw stuff in there! However, after using the new junk drawer organizers and tips I was able to make my drawer look tons better! Here is my drawer after using the organizer!
It looks much better! Here are some of the tips for organizing your junk drawer that I used!
SAVE! Here's a coupon for $1 off all Rubbermaid kitchen products!

Orly Nail Color Review and Giveaway
I received several beautiful shades of Orly Nail Color to review. I received three colors from the Once Upon A Time Collection and three colors from its Sweet Collection. Orly nail lacquers are different than most nail colors because they are free of DBP, toluene, formaldehyde and formaldehyde resin. "For over 33 years, in over 66 countries, ORLY nail care products have been the manicurist’s choice for nail strength, adhesion, wearability, dry time and shine." I was also impressed with Orly's award winning cap. "Professional results are at your fingertips with ORLY’s award-winning Gripper Cap™. This patented, rubberized cap provides ease of opening and flawless performance, and is exclusive to ORLY products." It's easy to understand why "ORLY has been recognized by the professional beauty industry with 12 ABBIES awards, along with many awards from trade and consumer magazines, and is one of the top nail care brands searched on the internet."
From the Sweet Collection I got Lemonade (a nice yellow color), Snowcone (a pretty blue), and Pixy Stix (a bold pink). I really liked this collection for many reasons. I liked it because each of the colors has a nice name that makes me think of food. I also liked the colors because they do resemble the name. I'm also a fan of this collection because each bottle came with a little tube of lip glass that is similar to the shade of nail color!
"Be swept away to a faraway land with ORLY’s Once Upon a Time color collection. Be the fairest one of all with the creamy grey of Mirror Mirror. All of your wishes will come true when you find your Prince Charming. This whimsical palette of dramatic reds, deep greens and enchanting greys will have you living Happily Ever After." From this wonderful collection I got Poison Apple (a vibrant red), Mirror Mirror (a lovely silver/grey), and Prince Charming (a nice brown). I liked this collection because each bottle came with a cute little charm attached that is representative of the color. The Prince Charming has a crown and Mirror Mirror has a hand-held mirror. My favorite shade I received was the Poison Apple and it had a wonderful apple that had a bite taken out of it! I especially liked this color because I tend to use reds and pinks on nails and this looks perfect for my nails! Here is a rough picture of the Poison Apple on my toe nails!
WIN! THIS GIVEAWAY IS CLOSED!
Orly Nail Color is generously offering 5 lucky readers a bottle of the Poison Apple from the Once Upon A Time collection (my favorite)!

Flirty Apron Review and Giveaway
I got a Woman's Apron Scalloped Chic Teal from Flirty Aprons! I picked this one because of its colors! I love them! I think it's really pretty! I like the whimsical loops of the black on the teal background. I also like the cute little bows on the pockets!
I was very impressed with the quality of this apron! It's 2-ply construction makes it durable and it feels great! Here is a picture of me wearing the apron!
Doesn't it look great?! Flirty Aprons has some of the cutest, flirtiest aprons around! They have a design for every woman. They are also made to fit all sizes! Beautiful Coffee Cups Review
You may remember the beautiful coffee cups teaser I posted recently. I received the coffee cups from CSN Stores! As you may recall they offer bar stools, cookware, and wine racks! Well, the coffee cups pictured above are the ones I received. Aren't they pretty! I love the color of these cups! I really like the size of them. They aren't too small (I dislike small cups) and they aren't so big that I'll drink too much. They really are the perfect size!
They are also of good quality! They aren't flimsy or anything. These are nice cups! I started using them almost right away (they had be cleaned first). Check out CSN Stores for your next dishware purchase!
Disclaimer: I will received the above cups for this review. No other compensation was received or offered. Opinions expressed are my own.
Pamela's (Yummy) Products Review
More than 3 million people in the US have Celiac Disease (the inability to digest gluten), 1 in every 166 people have Autism, and 1 out of every 6 adults has a food allergy. Pamela's Products makes goods that are gluten-free (which is recommended for those managing Autism) and wheat-free. I have been able to try some delicious goods from Pamela's Products! I got Chocolate Cake Mix and Vanilla Frosting Mix to make cupcakes! The "divine mix makes two luscious layers of deep, dark, rich cake. Pamela's Luscious Chocolate Cake will transport you to chocolate heaven. Pamela's Vanilla Frosting Mix makes a rich, creamy, and delightful frosting. Crafted from premium all natural ingredients including organic powdered sugar, it's the sweet beginning to a variety of irresistible icings." Both mixes are wheat-free, gluten-free, and non-dairy!
Using the silicone bake cups I received in the Valentine's Day Blogger Swap I made some great heart-shaped cupcakes! I was a bit curious if the mix would look any different since it's non-dairy. It does look a little more lumpy, to me. Here is a picture of the cake mix batter before being baked so you can see for yourself.
I was also a bit skeptical that it would turn out looking and tasting ok. Here is another picture of the cupcakes, when they came out of the oven.
As you can see, they turned out perfect! While they were cooling I set to making the vanilla frosting. The frosting turned out a bit more lumpy than I'm used to, but it could be because I didn't use enough water in the recipe. Either way, the cupcakes still looked great! Here is a picture of the cupcakes with frosting!
These were some of the best cupcakes I've ever tried! I let my parents try them (I did this on a weekend where we were snowed in together) and didn't tell them they were non-dairy or anything different. They didn't even notice that they were different! Both of them said they were very good (I did leave the frosting off of dad's because he is not a fan of frosting)! Once I realized how much they liked them I didn't even bother telling them that they weren't your typical cupcakes!
I also got to try the Chunky Chocolate Chip Cookies from Pamela's Products! Pamela's Products calls it "comfort food at its finest" and I have to agree! They are wheat-free, gluten-free, and non-dairy. I wasn't sure what to expect from these cookies. They are bit different in texture than your regular cookie, however they are still delicious! I thought they tasted wonderful... I didn't share these with anyone; I ate the whole box! I also must say that I liked how they were packaged with individual sheets in between each cookie!
Pamela's Products aren't just for people with dietary restrictions; anyone can enjoy them! I would recommend Pamela's Products to everyone!

Rethink What Matters Bare Escentuals Giveaway
I'm excited to introduce my readers to something thought provoking and a new giveaway for a great product!
Rethink What Matters invites women nationwide to shake up their foundation and sound off on topics that are more than just skin-deep—from going bare in public to discussing what freedom really feels like. Each week at RethinkWhatMatters.com, a new discussion topic has been featured with five questions for all to answer, share with their friends and have the chance to instantly win free products and other fantastic goodies. New topics and products will be featured weekly, posted each Friday to the site. This week’s topic is “Rethink The Need to Find Yourself”! I took the quiz and was surprised by the results (it tells you what percentage of women agree with you)! You should take it too!
This week in connection with Rethink What Matters I am hosting a giveaway for Bare Escentuals Rare Minerals Active Triple Treatment Eye Cream!
"RareMinerals Active Triple Treatment Eye Cream is a daily multi-benefit eye treatment that delivers the top three essentials to keep eyes looking youthful by diminishing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, restoring firmness and reducing puffiness. Our RareMinerals ActiveSoil Complex, which functions as mineral electrolytes when in liquid form, harnesses the skin’s own power to absorb and retain moisture while also effectively delivering essential minerals and nutrients to the skin. The addition of Marine Peptides help strengthen and contour the appearance of the eye area for increased firmness, while also reducing the appearance of dark circles and puffiness by flushing out underlying pigment and toxins to rejuvenate the eye area instantly and over time."
This sounds like a great product to me (I have not tried it).

Valentine's Day Swap Package Goodies
Today I received my goodies from my partner in the Valentine's Day Swap! My great partner was Carrie Miyake from Over 30 Mommy! Carrie has an adorable daughter who just had a birthday! I love that she calls her "Wiggle Bean"! I was excited to be assigned someone with a kid because she is so cute (being an education major makes me love kids)! Here is a picture of all of the great stuff I got in my box today!
Carrie sent me tons of great stuff! I got cute v-day pencils (which will spice up taking notes in class), Reese's peanut butter cups (Yay! YUMMY!), conversation hearts, lollipops, and 2 kinds of coffee (again, yay! The Godiva one smells delicious!)! I also got a cute "XOX" attached Wilton Cookie Cutter and some handy Wilton Silicone Heart Baking Cups (which I've already used in an upcoming yummy product review)! She also sent me some lovely socks and a wonderful soft stuffed dog with body wash and lotion (that smells great)! I'm so happy with my assortment of goodies! I was really surprised with the quantity and quality of stuff I got!
I also enjoyed the note she sent with it explaining why she picked out everything! Thanks so much Carrie! I appreciate everything! It shows that you really read my blog and my survey! I can tell you took the time to think about stuff before buying it! I love it all! I only hope you like the stuff I sent you as well (I wish I had included more in the package)! :)
I had so much fun participating in this swap and can't wait to do another!

PJSalvage Cupcake Pajamas Review
I received the cute pajamas pictured above from PJSalvage! They are the Cupids Closet Sateen PJ Set! I love these pajamas because they are so cute! Anyone that knows me or has been reading my blog for a while knows that I love baking and I LOVE cupcakes! So, these pajamas are perfect for me!
The pajamas are also pretty comfortable! The tag in the back is a bit itchy at times, but other than that, they are great! I like how the pajama pants have a drawstring, it makes them fit better! I haven't really worn many button-up pajamas shirts, but this is kinda nice. I like how the big black buttons go with the black dots on the pajama print. The bottoms also have a line of fake black buttons to match!
Overall, a great set of pajamas! PJSalvage carries many other adorable/wonderful pajama sets! If they are anything like these, I'm sure they are fantastic!

Wilton Giant Heart Pan and Giveaway
My boyfriend and I got to use a Wilton Giant Heart Cookie Pan to make an adorable chocolate chip cookie! The pan is designed for one package of refrigerated dough! I was also sent some sprinkles to decorate the cookie with. Here is a picture of the cookie before we baked it!
The directions said not to stretch the cookie out and make it touch the sides of the pan, but let it sit in the middle. After baking it I see why it said this. The cookies spreads out a lot during baking. I also got some cookie icing to decorate the cookie with. Here is a picture of the cookie after we baked it!
It was really good! It was also very fun and easy to make! My only concern is that it was a little hard to get the center completely done. However, it's still very easy to bake and fun to decorate! The giant cookie was gone within a day or two! The pan can also be used for brownies and pizza! I think the pan will come in handy in the future!
WIN! THIS GIVEAWAY IS CLOSED!
Wilton is giving one reader a Giant Heart Cookie Pan of their own plus decorating supplies!

Febreze Flameless Luminary Review
I recently received a Febreze Flameless Luminary to review. I was excited to receive one of these because it's from Febreze, which as we all should know makes wonderful smelling and long lasting products! I was also pleased to get one because it's flameless! We aren't allowed to have candles in our dorm rooms because of fire hazards. However, I believe we can have one of these!
I love how the little light in the middle of the base sort of shimmers/shines so that it gives the appearance of being a real candle! It's great for any home and because each of the scents is a different shade, you can match it with any home decor. It's also really easy to switch shades and change the mood of the room! I really like my luminary and can't wait to get new scents for it!
Also, you can Fan Febreze on Facebook and/or Follow Febreze on Twitter for periodic contests and giveaways of fabulous Febreze products!

Cheryl And Co. Cookie Review and Giveaway
I am lucky enough to have been sent some of the the best cookies ever from Cheryl and Co.! I received a Valentine's Day Sampler pictured above! It contains a yummy assortment of cookies and desserts!
It has wonderful chocolate chip cookies and oatmeal raisin cookies! I always love a good chocolate chip cookie and these hit the spot! I usually just "like" an oatmeal raisin cookie, but these I love! They are chewy and taste perfect! I only wish they were bigger! :)
The Dancing Hearts Gift Tower also comes with 2 fudge brownies, 4 confection pretzel clusters, and 2 drizzled pretzels! I ate one of the brownies and gave the other to my mom since she really likes brownies! We both enjoyed them lots! The confection pretzel clusters make for a great little snack! I enjoy being able to eat something from the set that isn't too big! The drizzled pretzels are also delicious!
Lastly, are my 2 favorites from the set: buttercream frosted heart cut-out cookies (pictured above) and frosted triple chocolate cookies! I LOVED both of these cookies! My boyfriend got to try the heart cut-out cookies and thought they were great! Both cookies are just delicious! I'm forcing myself to not eat all of them at one time... I want them to last!
Everything comes individually wrapped and tastes fresh! The cookies actually crumble in my hand! Cheryl And Co. products are definitely worth the money! I love them!
